Independent

Hello everyone I am back!

For a short while that is.

I feel that i need to jot down parts of my life just in case one day i forgot about them.

Like always, let the pictures do the talking! :)

Well, as usual, working with the committee is tiring but really really fun and i got to make many new friends especially this bunch of girls :D I would not say that the journey is easy but it is bearable thanks to them :) And sadly, it is almost time for us to pass down soon, everything is happening so fast, we went from one event to the next and the next and hardly even have time to really have one full day of fun without talking about work (Thats how hardcore we are #swag HAHAAH) it seems just like yesterday we were preparing for HOC and now we are passing down soon! time really flies :')
I really really miss these girls ( including those not in this photo!) For those who don't know, this is prolly the first semester in my poly life i am going through a FULL sem almost alone. Almost being that i know these girls will forever be my helpline if i really need help but i should really grow some spine and stand up for myself and not be too reliant like a cry baby hahahah. ( sounds all cool and independent here but i think i talk to them almost everyday HAAAHAH independent my butt) miss yall girls MUACKS!
To be honest, i don't think that we are the most perfect group. We went through ups and downs together and we tolerated each other's tantrums (DUNDUNDUN,  revealing of the not so happy happy teamwork! HHAHAH) But conflicts or not I don't think we are really angry at each other but we are angry because we want things done. and done nicely. with this bunch of perfectionist we really do have frictions but we all have trust and faith in each other that there will be quality work done. We study hard and we play hard. i really enjoy our time together. The previous semester is relatively hard, but with you girls and guy, it went pass like a breeze. It feel so peaceful, and really, all of you are like the umbrella in a storm, i know i will still get wet from the rain but you protected me from the pain of the raindrops. (WOAH CHEESY SIAH WTH. IDK WHAT I AM SAYING HAHAHHAAH) But oh wells, you get the point. i love working with all of you :)
And for the next part, i spent my holidays in a YEP trip ( Youth expedition programme) and for this trip, i went to thailand to serve the community in a small village in Chiangrai. the experience is really fun and if you realised, i did not put any pictures of the children because once i start with one, it will never stop. so i shal not start any HAHAHAHAH if you really want to see cute children can see from my FB yeah ;)
So apart from teaching i helped out with mural painting too!! I am really proud to say the road, and 50%? of the tracing were done by me! YESSSS! MY PRIDE! And the photo above is my awesome team of painters. can hire us to paint for you but all these hunks and babes comes at a high price :P
HAHAH here is my random "family" we formed and self claimed at thailand with 2 "fathers" :P It is really fun to hang out with them and i think our "parents" have awesome kids yeah? HEHEHEHEH

Not to mention, my favourite girls! my roommate, my friends , my sisters , my gossipgirls, HAHAAH Really fun to have chit chat sessions with yall and sometimes we even talk about stupid random things but who cares, we always have fun! YAY :D
This is not really the full force but oh wells, i only managed to find this photo so :/ Sorry... but you know what i mean. to the whole YEP Chiangrai team, i think we are suuper hyped  night owls HAHHAAH look at all the panda eyes! But i never regret going on this trip and even though 2 weeks is really long and there are a lotttt of bugs there, i will not mind staying longer there with all of you :) ( it really means something when zy is willing to tolerate bugs kaysss) we went there as strangers and came back as friends. this is cool shit. HAHAHAH

Here is a photo of me totally blending into the Thailand style! HOHOHO!

Before you scroll down further and thought you are reading the wrong blog, i have some stuff to say.
as i have previously mentioned, this sem i am really miserable (INITIALLY, just in case i break any hearts of my current classmates HAHAHAHHA) but " what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" This quotes, from Stronger really applies to my current life.

As tough as it can be, i would just suck it up and do it. Yes i might whine, but there is the only why i can vent so my dearest friends please bear with me, and yeah i will take this as a challenge to see how far i can excel without my friends and see some growth in myself. Half of me is excited at the new challenge and the other half is still upset being alone. but maybe being alone is not that bad sometimes. it definitely have its perks. and those are for you to discover yourself :)

Photo of me all professionally dressed up for photoshoot. i think i look soooo much older. but oh wells i don't really look young thanks to my height and i ain't anywhere young with my current age so i guess this is not that bad right?

Shall not scar all of you for life and end with my photo,so here is a rainbow and a video about my trip to thailand :)

Somewhere over the rainbow :>

Growing up

Hello peeps, in case you are wondering if i am alive, well, i am pretty much alive, with not much life. Opps, you got what i mean? HAHAHAH
The fact that i am like MIA despite i am having holiday now speaks a lot.
Well, not like i have a wonderful love life partner that takes up all of my time, in fact i dont even have a partner, and it is also not like i am overseas for some extremely eye opening trip.
I am stuck in Singapore, and in my house and in school.
Basically, you can say i have no holiday. tsk.
Nevertheless, i feel the urge to update this blog and to put a full stop to my previous semester before my new one starts.

Heres my Class, TB21, they are super friendly, and super not competitive people! Though i don't really talk to my classmates much, but i am still glad to meet them. All of them are hardworking and each have their dreams/goals that they are determined to achieve. Their diligence and constant work towards their goal is one of my source of motivation. I certainly hope that all of them will achieve their dreams. :)
Thanks for being my classmate!
Say hi to my girls, we managed to stick together for almost 1 whole year!
Even though next semester some of us would be split up, i will definitely miss you both! :'(((((
These girls are also one of my source of comfort and motivation. Thanks for all your last minute cramming info into my mind, and making sure i know some stuff i missed out!
And thanks for being such awesome group project mates that we always complain about a certain same person *coughcough* HAHAHAHAH
Thanks for encouraging me and giving me motivation to work hard! :D
You girls are the first friends i have made in poly and hopefully we can stay friends and in contact even when we graduate!
Thinking so far huh, but time just flies with yall :')
Let's graduate together with scholarship/ distinctions! :D
Love yall kayssssss

Well, time flies and i got into the main committee of BP-NP Mentoring as secretary. These girls are allll my buddies who are gonna shoulder the responsibilities with me :)
I could say meeting them is one of the best things that happened in my poly life. Though yes, occasionally my energy gets drained and my stress level shoots up like a rocket, all these ups and downs made us more bonded than ever!
See in the picture, you will not believe that when we took this picture, it is only the 2nd or 3rd time we meet right? HAHAHAHAH
To my committee members if you are reading this, great to meet you and lets work together to conquer all the challenges that comes into our path to get the outstanding community service CCA award!!
We can do it!!! :DDDD
FIGHTING! JIAYOU! WOOHOOOO! *Zihigh*

Thanks to being in the main committee, it has certainly widen my social circle. The picture above is taken during CSC camp. Community service cluster, we are one big family :)
I have learnt about how these other ccas are contributing to the society. Each and every one of them in the picture above are great people with a selfless heart that is willing to serve the community at their best. I am so proud of everyone :)
Their contribution made mine seems insignificant, however, just like the starfish story, we are all powerful beings, no matter how insignificant we find our contribution is, it might be of big significance to another. we can never underestimate our capabilities. :)

Last but not leastttt, my sister treated my parents to korea, leaving me and my second sis alone at home.
I really love my family, every time, i would feel really blessed to be born in such a loving family. Only when my parents are not in Singapore, then i realized how much they really matter to me. I have a mum who will cook, wash, take care of us without any complains, and a father who silently support the family working his best at work and helping out to maintain our house, and drives us around. I really missed them for that 1 week plus they are in Korea. Life just seems so dull without them around to comment about the television show, or rush me to sleep earlier. i really love them lots. Words just can't do justice to show my love for my family.
Looking at this picture made me realize that they are slowly aging, if i am not really born, they could have happily retired by now. And yet, they chose to keep working to support my studies without any complains.
If getting a scholarship meant an easier life for them, i would gladly work hard for it.
Given more responsibilities for my CCA and moving up to year 2 made me think.
Why are others coping so well, they can be involved in CCA, work and still score very well for their studies.
So for the up coming semester, i will try to work hard to juggle between CCA and studies.
I want to make my parents proud :)
Touching huh, hope this sense of motivation sticks as i move alongggg! :DDD

Story about pencil!

Just come across this inspiring story about pencil in my sports and wellness class, and thought maybe i should share it :)

The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box.

"There are 5 things you need to know," he told the pencil, "Before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best pencil you can be."

"One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in Someone's hand."

"Two: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a better pencil."

"Three: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make."

"Four: The most important part of you will always be what's inside."

"And Five: On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write."

The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.

Now replacing the place of the pencil with you.  Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.

One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in God's hand. And allow other human beings to access you for the many gifts you possess.

Two: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, by going through various problems in life, but you'll need it to become a stronger person.

Three: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.

Four: The most important part of you will always be what's on the inside.

And Five: On every surface you walk through, you must leave your mark. No matter what the situation, you must continue to do your duties.

Allow this parable on the pencil to encourage you to know that you are a special person and only you can fulfill the purpose to which you were born to accomplish.

Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot make a change.
